Digitization is the representation of an object, image, sound, document or a signal by a discrete set of its points or samples. Digitizing means simply capturing an analogue signal in digital form. In the process of digitization the text, sound, or image voice are concentrated into a binary code. Digital information is stored as one of two digits either 0 or 1. These are called bits. This is the binary data that computers and many devices with computing capacity (such as digital cameras and digital hearing aids) can process. Text images can be digitized similarly: a scanner captures an image (which may be an image of text) and converts it to an image file, such as a bitmap.
Digitalisation has sneaked into our every aspect of life. Digitizing information makes it easier to preserve, access, and share. For example, an original historical document may also be accessible to people who visit its physical location, but if the document content is digitized, it can be made available to people worldwide. There is a growing a trend towards digitization of historically and culturally significant data.

Many company show neither interest in the project. However it is not free from challenges and legal hurdles. Many legal experts believe that e-governance and Digitization without cyber security is useless .This project also tracks the concept of proper E-Waste management.
Adhar is the one of the best example of Digitization in India.
However agencies like C.B.I are operating for decades and fully rely on Digitization. India is reaching its pinnacle and digitization have helped us a lot, and will also help in future.
